TLDR:

Clarity of benefits and visual focus ensure that the prospective customer knows exactly what they are buying.

But overwhelming the eye with so many benefits could be lost in translation with someone who is speeding through their feed.

Make sure you are thinking about the user experience when creating an ad that is so heavy on benefits.

There’s more to dive into but if you want to ✌️ we understand…

What’s working ❤️‍🔥

  • Clarity in Benefits: The ad effectively lists the benefits of the ŌURA Ring such as:

    • illness detection,

    • heart rate monitoring

    • sleep quality tracking

    • and its 7-day battery life.

  • This straightforward approach in communicating features can lead to immediate comprehension of the product's value proposition. This is the holy grail - when they get it ASAP.

  • Visual Focus: The image smartly zooms in on the product itself, placed on a finger, emphasizing its sleek design and wearability. The spotlight on the ring aligns well with the ad's message of personal wellness monitoring.

    • This comes back to what we talk about often - show a product in motion or in use. This does that well enough to drive click velocity.

  • Inclusivity: A standout feature mentioned is its accuracy across all skin tones, which addresses a common issue with biometric devices. This can broaden the product's appeal and shows a commitment to inclusivity.

What could be better 🔨

  • Overwhelming Text: While informative, the text distribution might overwhelm the reader. The eye is drawn in multiple directions, which can dilute the impact of each feature mentioned. A more hierarchical layout could ensure that the primary message captures attention first, followed by secondary points.

  • Lack of Emotional Appeal: The ad lacks a direct emotional connection. It's functional but does not tap into the aspirational or emotional aspect of health and wellness which could increase engagement and drive conversions.

    • For a product that can change your life so drastically the hope would be that either you spread a different message across your ad account OR you have a more emotional experience post-click on your website.

  • Ambiguous Context: There's no context of use or lifestyle imagery which could make the product benefits more relatable. Showing the ring in action or associating it with a fitness or wellness routine could enhance the message's relevance.

    • What we have is good BUT it could be great with an image like this 👇

What to do📈

  1. Streamline Text Placement: Reorganize the text to guide the viewer's eye naturally from the most important feature to the least. Employing size and boldness can establish a visual hierarchy.

  2. Introduce Lifestyle Imagery: Incorporate images that show people using the ŌURA Ring in everyday scenarios. This could help potential customers visualize the product in their daily life, enhancing desirability.

  3. Add a Call to Action (CTA): Encourage immediate engagement by including a clear CTA, like "Discover Your Wellness Potential" or "Join the ŌURA Community". This prompts the user to take the next step, potentially increasing conversion rates.

  4. Incorporate User Testimonials: Featuring a quote from a satisfied customer can humanize the ad, adding an element of trust and social proof.

  5. Utilize Color Psychology: Adjust color schemes to evoke the desired emotional response. Cooler colors, for example, are often associated with health and tranquility.

  6. Highlight Recognition: The "TIME BEST INVENTIONS 2020" (also update it to 2024 lol) badge is a strong selling point but is somewhat lost in the current layout. Make it more prominent to leverage the credibility and prestige associated with the award.

  7. Simplify for Clarity: Too many focal points can dilute the message. Choose the three most compelling features and design the ad around them, possibly saving other details for further down the funnel.

  8. Showcase Diversity: While the ad claims accuracy across all skin tones, it could visually demonstrate this claim by featuring a diverse range of individuals in the imagery, strengthening the inclusivity message.
