Hey everyone, Chase from CreativeOS here.
Today's ad is for Bobbie, an organic infant formula brand. And it has one of the most precise headlines in any ad we've made.
Here's what it's doing.
The Ad

Ad created in CreativeOS
Brand: Bobbie
Format: Static, Product plus Lifestyle Composite
Headline: Our Closest To Breast Milk Yet
The workflow behind this ad.
This one followed the full CreativeOS brief-clone workflow.
The seed asset was saved from Meta's ad library. Found inside our template and inspiration database. Briefed and cloned into a Bobbie execution.
You can pull the original inspiration here:
The composite format (product stacked centrally, lifestyle subjects flanking) translates across any category where the product needs to exist in an aspirational world rather than on a plain background.
Baby, wellness, food, skincare. Pull the structure, brief it against your brand DNA, and the output is yours in under an hour.
What the Creative Genome sees.
🎯 Hook Angle: Honest Admission as Category Claim
💡 Primary Emotion: Trust + Relief
⚙️ Persuasion Mechanism: Comparative Honesty. Measuring against the gold standard instead of the competition.
👁 Why it stops the scroll: "Yet" is doing more work than the entire rest of the headline.
The breakdown.
Let's start with the headline because it is the whole ad.
"Our Closest To Breast Milk Yet."
Most infant formula brands would say "the best formula for your baby" or "closest to nature." Bobbie said something more specific and more honest. They named the actual gold standard. Breast milk. Not another formula. Not a category benchmark. The thing every parent actually wishes they could use.
And then they admitted they haven't fully gotten there. "Yet."
That word changes everything. It's not "our formula is as good as breast milk." It's "we're closer than we've ever been, and we're still working on it." That admission is more credible than any claim of perfection because it implies a trajectory. A brand that admits it's still improving is a brand that has standards high enough to acknowledge the gap.
This is the VW "Lemon" principle applied to infant formula. Volkswagen called their own car a lemon and used it to prove their quality control. Bobbie named the thing their product can't fully replicate and used it to prove their ambition. Both earn trust by saying the thing most brands won't say.
The eyebrow copy earns its place too. "The Formula You've Been Waiting For" curves around the top of the ad in a circular script. It's a promise that the headline then immediately grounds in reality. You've been waiting for breast milk nutrition. We're as close as anyone has gotten.
The two babies flanking the stacked product tins are not decoration. They're casting choices. Different ethnicities, different outfits, both holding bottles, both calm and healthy. The visual signals: this is for every parent. The product sits between them like a shared answer.
The CTA is aggressive. 50% off your starter bundle is a significant entry offer. For a product in a category where switching cost is high and parental anxiety is even higher, leading with a discounted bundle removes the trial risk entirely.
Would you run this ad? |
What could be stronger.
"No Corn Syrup. No Palm Oil. DHA and ARA." These are on the can in the ad but they're small. For the parent who knows what to look for, those three claims would land harder as explicit copy above the CTA.
Parents researching formula know these differentiators. Surfacing them in the ad does double duty: validates the educated buyer and teaches the first-time buyer what to care about.
